Why We Care
When people ask why we limit the amount of art displayed at each Timeraiser, we respond like so many other NPOs – our budget. The typical response is: “Why can’t the artist donate their work so you can have more art to display?”
It’s this very question that makes us realize that the general public isn’t aware of the struggle most emerging artists experience in the beginning of their career. While Timeraiser is about generating volunteer hours and promoting local NPOs, it’s equally important to actively support the art community.
