  • Timeraiser & Technology – Nicole’s Insight from Week 1

    Date: 2010.10.14 | Category: Capacity Building | Response: 1

    Tech Savvy is the way to be.

    Today marks my 5th full day at Framework, and thinking back to my first day when I was invited in for a casual lunch and overview of the organization, I had no idea what I Brand viagra was getting myself into! Viagra for women

    I thought that because I had a strong grasp of the common computer applications, you know, the usual suspects: Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint etc., that’s all I would need — wrong! Pastillas levitra I was quickly awakened to the powerful world that is cloud-computing technology. Online levitra Viagra sale Kaufen viagra Viagra alternatives

    In my quest to learn how Framework/Timeraiser operates on a daily basis, my team has been extremely patient when explaining how to utilize all of these interconnected programs. Cheap viagra online I should also add, I was impressed to see how they took this knowledge for granted (in the most positive way possible), as these programs are such an integral part of their org Levitra pill anization. Prospecto levitra Kauf von viagra Now that I’m a few days in, I can certainly understand and appreciate why they have implemented Salesforce.com , Box.net, and applications like SmartSheet into their daily lives. Purchase viagra online Levitra contraindicaciones Over the counter viagra Levitra achat Furthermore, the more I use them, the more user friendly they become. For instance, we can set up a SmartSheet that is accessible to project managers from different organizations, giving them permission to edit, comment, and approve aspects of the project (all using a single shared document). This alleviates the daunting task of sifting through emails and attachments to ensure that every element of the project has been addressed, thus providing clarity, conciseness and efficiency. Levitra pas cher Viagra levitra Tech savvy is time savvy.

    When reflecting back to organizations that I’ve been involved with in the past, it’s clear that taking the time to be up-to-date in the world of computer technology will pay off not only for the interim but the future. Viagra bestellung Levitra prix pharmacie

    I look forward to learning more from Timeraiser and their technological ways!

  • Mapping Technology: Google Maps Top Other Software

    Date: 2010.10.13 | Category: Civic Footprint, E-Learning, Technology | Response: 0

    My name is Kenneth and I am a fourth year Urban Studies student studying at the University of Toronto. Pastillas levitra I am currently taking INI437, a fourth year internship/ seminar course, where students, like myself, are partnered with non-profit organizations like Framework and other offices, such as the Councillor’s office. This course promotes learning by connecting theory to practice (i.e. actual work experiences).

    One of my first assignments as an intern at Framework is to examine the advantages and d Kaufen viagra isadvantages of five mapping software applications, then choose one as the most effective software for creating open interactive maps. Viagra levitra Viagra sale Viagra bestellung I’ve compared Google Maps, Fusion Tables, Map Quest, ArcGIS Explorer and Map Maker, and accessed them based on the following categories:

    – ease of use;
    – visualization capabilities;
    – total cost of ownership; and
    – exporting/sharing options.

    I have come to the conclusion that Google Maps is the best option for creating mobile and interactive maps. Levitra contraindicaciones Although mapping software like Fusion Tables and ArcGIS Explorer are more efficient when merging multiple data points into a map, Google Maps, in my opinion, provide users a better mapping experience. Viagra sin receta Cheap viagra online Indeed, Google Maps is extremely straightforward and user-friendly. Levitra pill I remember the first day of my internship; I’ve learned how to use Google Maps from a five minute tutorial that can be found on Youtube. Levitra prix pharmacie

    Furthermore, the advantages of Google Maps outweigh its dis Online levitra advantages. Purchase viagra online For instance, maps can be personalized to show different layers of boundaries and neighbourhoods within the city. Levitra pas cher Kauf von viagra Levitra achat Most importantly, Google Maps has the option allowing multiple users to collaborate with each other on one map, which can then be shared with other people through a link or by email. Viagra for women Brand viagra Prospecto levitra I think these benefits are appealing for individuals to use this ‘free’ software to create their own simple, yet sophisticated maps.
