Well said, but I wonder if the underlying reason perhaps is fearing the change. And the subsequent paralysis that arises from too much change with too many options presented too quickly. The mind tends to shy away from that especially when software is by and large considered a tool to accomplish the real goal of social improvement.

What I really like about your approach is that it seeks to develop the wisdom and appropriate decision-making system to make sense of it all. You've developed the knowledge, are comfortable with technology, and, best of all, you're sharing it with people. Great job.

Thank you for mentioning our program.

It is only through community support that our program is possible.

It's hard to imagine how a mere dress can make such an impact to a young ladies life...but believe me when you see the tears, and are at the receiving end of a 17yr old girls hug, you realize how you just made an impact on someone life.

From the girl who's been living on her own since she was 15, or the girl who had a baby when she was 16, the girl who lost both parents in a car accident, to the girl who is an honour student and actively involved in school life - what do they have in common - the lack of money to buy a dress for their prom celebrations.

How do you know when you've made an impact in someone life....when they bring that gown back and tell you how important this was to them and they would now like to share the experience with some other girl the next year.
They have learned to care about their community and to help someone else.

Thanks for helping make this happen.
