  • Timeraiser Supports Local Artists

    Date: 2009.08.24 | Category: Timeraiser | Response: 3

Logo_Timeraiser_BLK200Timeraiser is an event that can be difficult for us to sum up to newcomers.  It stands alone as a not-for-profit event that has a positive impact on artists, Over the counter viagra volunteers, sponsors, volunteer agencies and the community where the event takes place. Why We Care

When people ask why we limit the amount of art displayed at each Timeraiser, we respond like so many other NPOs – our budget. The typical response is: “Why can’t the artist donate their work so you can have more art to display?”

It’s this very question that makes us realize that the general public isn’t aware of the struggle most emerging artists experience in the beginning of their career. Viagra alternatives Below I’ve included an example of one artist’s annual expenses. Online levitra Viagra sin receta Levitra contraindicaciones The average annual operating costs for one artist is approximately $10,000.

While Timeraiser is about generating volunteer hours and promoting local NPOs, it’s equally important to actively support the art community.

Rethinking the Importance of Arts and Culture

  • Case Study of Skilled Volunteerism

We have a lot of people knocking on our door asking to volunteer. These requests come in on a weekly basis.
